On February 19, taking the 110th Anniversary of the First People's Hospital as an opportunity, the Chinese Academy of Engineering Party member and Vice President Fan Daiming academician made a special lecture on "integration medicine to a new era of medical development" for the city's medical workers in Chenzhou.

At the lecture, Fan Daiming with humorous teaching style cited various authorities to present that integration medicine is a new direction for the medicine development to all present medical staff from the aspects of medical trends, health service changes, medical changes and other professional knowledge.

Fan Daiming said that developing integration medicine needs to establish a correct medicine concept. Medicine and science are complementary and we should use the scientific theory to help medicine instead of using it to bind medicine. Fan Daiming stressed that "integration medicine" is to combine psychological factors, social factors and environmental factors, integrate the most advanced medical discovery in each field related to life with the most effective clinical experience of specialties related to medical, and let the single thinking change to the plural thinking, to construct a new medical knowledge system which is more suitable for natural law, more suitable for human health maintenance and diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease.
