From April 25 to 26, 2017 Hunan Province Photovoltaic (PV) Poverty Alleviation Promotion & Training was held in Rucheng County.

As a pilot city of poverty alleviation in Hunan Province in 2016, since the implementation of PV poverty alleviation work, our city has adhered to high-level advancement, scientific planning, bold innovation and steady implementation, and the poverty alleviation pilot work of 498 poor village-level PV power stations and 2000 households using PV has been carried out. The PV power station will be completed at the end of May this year to realize the grid connected generating electricity.

The meeting pointed out that we should pay close attention to grasp the policy opportunities of the relevant state ministries and commissions on the development of distributed PV poverty alleviation project, highlight the focus of work, focus on the overall situation, take increasing the income of poor households as the core, and comprehensively improve the quality and efficiency of PV poverty alleviation to ensure the smooth realization of the goal of PV poverty alleviation. We should effectively strengthen the organization and leadership, give full play to the role of township poverty alleviation workstations, helping teams in the village and village organizations in the PV poverty alleviation, and form the co-management of cities, counties and townships and the working pattern of "Trinity". At the same time, should take the promotion training as the opportunity, fully draw lessons from good experience and good practice of Chenzhou PV poverty alleviation, and develop the PV project as a key poverty alleviation industry, to make it to be another special highlight of Hunan targeted poverty alleviation.

Before the meeting, the participants also filed observed the ground PV power station in Chengxi Village, Daping Town, Rucheng County, PV poverty alleviation power station in the Daping cooperation villages and households, agriculture and PV complementary project in Liuxi Village, Jiyi Town and other projects.
