Yi Pengfei and Liang Weihua – President of China Logistics Co., Ltd. shared views each other

It was reported that Yi Pengfei - Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Director of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress met Liang Weihua - President of China Logistics Co., Ltd. and his investigation team on May 5, 2017. They shared views on improving the development of Chenzhou City’s logistics industry via better playing of the central enterprises’ advantages and closer cooperation between the two parties.

China Logistics Co., Ltd. is one of the sub-members of China Chentong Holdings Group Ltd. which is commanded by SASAC of the State Council. It is the group’s flagship company on improving modern logistics, mainly on handling the comprehensive logistics services as railway and highway transportation, joint transportation, international logistics forwarder, warehousing, distribution, financing of production, marketing, and supply chain, and etc. Currently, over one hundred branches of the company are being allocated all over China, including total 1.5 million square meters warehousing areas large-scale logistics parks in over 30 hub cities. It owns 33 special railway lines. The national 5A logistics enterprise which was credited with 3A level based on logistics credit standards was awarded as “Top 50 most competitive logistics enterprises of China” by China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.

Liang Weihua said China Logistics Co., Ltd. paid special attention on investing in Chenzhou City. In recent years, some achievements were gained there, especially on some traditional logistics, comprehensive logistics service, and financing of supply chain. The company preliminarily decided to increase the investment in Chenzhou City after the investigation handled out in earlier stage, mainly on promoting the development of traditional logistics projects, establishing regional distribution center (especially the distribution center of high quality and well-known goods), building the exportation material distribution center, getting approval on constructing non-ferrous metals delivery warehouse, and etc. A special working team will be set up by the company on next step to further specify the functions of Chenzhou projects and improve the cooperation with Chenzhou City. Liang sincerely hoped that Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government can keep supporting their work in future.

Yi Pengfei expressed his warmly welcome to the investigation team and promised that Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government would try best to provide the company with best services.

Yi said Chenzhou City is with unique location advantages as it is close to Guangdong, HK, and Macau. He hoped the company can work together with Chenzhou City to improve the city to be an important distribution center of foreign trade cargos via the construction of comprehensive bonded zone and application of free trade zone. The none-ferrous industry is another key point for accelerating Chenzhou City’s transformation of economy and industry. Yi hoped that both two parties can enhance the cooperation to accelerate the transformation and lay sound logistics service foundation for the trading of mineral gem and equity on the basis of upgrading logistics services. The relative departments should handle the follow-up work well in next step with specified scheduling table. All departments should coordinate with each other to provide better services and ensure all work to be handled out efficiently.
