No.6 Middle School Becomes First Provincial "Law Education Base for Minors" in Chenzhou

On May 17, the province's "law into the campus" preaching activities Chenzhou Station awarding, the launching ceremony of preaching and "law into the campus" activities were held in the No.6 Middle School. Deputy Procurator General of the provincial Procuratorate Yin Shibo authorized the "law education base for minors" to No.6 Middle School, marking the school became the first provincial "law education base for minors" in Chenzhou.

 

It was reported that in order to enhance students' awareness of law-abiding and self-protection, and prevent and reduce students' criminal cases from the source, the Supreme People's Procuratorate and Ministry of Education decided to carry out a three-year "law into the campus" national tour activity from November 2016. After the launching ceremony, the Municipal People's Procuratorate and Municipal Education Bureau will jointly carry out the "law into the campus" tour activities in the primary and secondary schools of the city. In addition to the classroom tour, the activities will also spread campus violence crime prevention, self-protection education and other relevant laws, regulations and knowledge for them through the performance of the drama, playing micro-film, holding a moot court, doing the game, holding forums, issuing brochures and other new and vivid ways accepted by students and parents.

 

In the event site, the two prosecutors from Xiangtan Procuratorate and Changsha Kaifu District Procuratorate taught the students and teachers at the scene respectively with the titles of "Law- popularizing film - affray" and "Refuse drugs, sunshine walks together" and spread the spirit of law and legal knowledge to the majority of teachers and students with warm atmosphere through the on-site interaction, realistic cases and pit cases.

 

Municipal leaders Liu Zhiwei, Ouyang Jianhua, Li Xuelian, and Jiang Tao attended the launching ceremony.
