The summit site

On May 19, the summit of 5th CMGS was held. The expert representatives and entrepreneurs at home and abroad in the field of minerals, fossils, jewelry and museums made the special speeches around the theme of "the science and beauty of fossil minerals". Director of Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation, Ministry of Land and Resources Jiang Jianjun presided over the summit.

As an important part of the CMGS, this summit provides an open platform with a wide view for the research and communication of mineral fossil gem resources in the world, and will promote the sustainable development of mineral gem industry to provide strong protection for the healthy development of the industry. At same time this summit also lets the whole society understand the scientific and aesthetic value of minerals, gems and fossil resources, and improves the popular science influence and social benefits of the CMGS.
