On July 13, Chenzhou held the city's tourism development policy forum to study the "Policy measures on accelerating the global tourism development (Draft)" and "Opinions on speeding up the overall image promotion and marketing work of Chenzhou tourism (discussion paper)". Municipal Committee and Minister of Municipal Propaganda Department Feng Haiyan, and Vice Mayor Zhou Hailin attended the meeting.

Chenzhou introduced the above documents to accelerate the development of Chen global tourism, achieve the tourism resources across from the tourism resources big city to the tourism economic strong city, create a tourism image brand of "Splendid Xiaoxiang, different Chenzhou", and build Chenzhou into a national tourism demonstration area, a new model of global tourism base construction and a well-known leisure tourism destination in our province.

In view of the above documents, the participants put forward some opinions and suggestions on the scenic safety management, personnel training, infrastructure construction, intellectual property protection, rural tourism development and other aspects.

Feng Haiyan stressed that developing Chenzhou tourism should improve and perfect support policies, solve the difficulties and problems in the development of tourism industry, increase the training of tourism personnel, and promote the city's tourism industry development; should take the rural tourism as the focus of future development, combine tourism with poverty alleviation, support the development of boutique homestay, pay attention to tap the city's cultural connotation, and develop the red tourism; should work together to increase the tourism publicity and creation, increase marketing support, enrich the way of publicity, and promote the city's tourism industry sustained, rapid and healthy development through the government guidance and market-oriented operation.
