It was reported that Guiyang County is the Chinese herbal medicine planting demonstration county. The county's traditional Chinese medicine planting area reached 26 thousand mu and 5,000 households engaged in Chinese herbal medicine cultivation, in which more than 120 households with 100 mu of planting area, the output value of more than 1 billion yuan. Guiyang County has become the second largest agricultural pillar industry after flue-cured tobacco in the county.
