On July 23, the reporter learned from the meeting of fire safety rectification work for the high-rise buildings and large shopping malls that Chenzhou will carry out a period of six months of fire safety special rectification work for high-rise buildings and large shopping malls from July 1.

The scope of the special rectification includes high-rise buildings and large shopping malls. The high-rise buildings refer to the residential buildings with a height of more than 27 meters, and the non-single-storey factories, warehouses and other civil buildings with a height of more than 24 meters. We will carry out the special rectification on the insulating materials of building outer walls, fire protection facilities, fire rescue channels and safety evacuation facilities, wells, gas safety, electrical fire prevention, the realty service enterprise fails to perform their duties according to law and other aspects.

The large shopping malls refer to the shopping malls, supermarkets, small commodities markets, daily industrial products markets, integrated markets, home building materials markets (excluding outdoor farmers markets) to sell combustible goods with building area of more than 1000 square meters. We will carry out the rectification and management on the illegal construction, building fire facilities, evacuation rescue channels, electrical fire prevention, performing the duties according to law and other aspects.

The special rectification is divided into four stages of mobilization deployment, comprehensive investigation, key remediation and summary acceptance. The municipal government will set up inspection teams for inspection and acceptance of special rectification work. The unqualified acceptance will be remediated and the acceptance situation will be included in the government's 2017 annual assessment of fire work.
