On July 24, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor Liu Zhiren led the city government delegation to inspect and study in Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province. Liu Zhiren required to further emancipate the mind, innovative ideas, look for the gap on the work, and learn good experiences and practices through this inspection to promote Chenzhou economic and social development. The delegation visited the Huangshaping Innovation Park and Xinjinhui Business and Creation Complex in Shaoguan to learn more about how to build a good characteristic town and the operation mode of characteristic towns.

At the subsequent forum, Yin Huanming first introduced the economic and social development of Shaoguan. Yin Huanming introduced that Shaoguan has attached great importance to the three major priorities of "expansion and upgrading of quality, construction of industries, and county economy" in recent years, the economic scale, industrial efficiency and living standards of urban and rural residents have been continuously improved, and great achievements have been made in scientific and technological innovation, industrial innovation and institutional innovation. Historically, Chenzhou and Shaoguan have a very close relationship and have many similarities in green development, ecological protection, industrial transformation and so on. He hoped to further deepen cooperation through the "Red Triangle" platform in the future, deepen regional cooperation in transportation, tourism, ecological environment and food safety, win support at the national level, turn "edge" into "front edge", and promote the development of "three cities" together for the benefit of the people."

Liu Zhiren said that Shaoguan city is the first stop of Hunan's entry into Guangdong and is the economic, transportation, cultural and political center of the northern Guangdong region. It is a city full of vigor and vitality, as well as an open and traditional city. In recent years, Shaoguan has closely linked to the "Public entrepreneurship, people's innovation" put forward by the CPC Central Committee and State Council, led the opening, innovation and transformation with industry and culture, achieved good results in many aspects, such as the construction of characteristic towns, and created good experience. It was worth learning and drawing lessons from Chenzhou. Liu Zhiren required that the departments at all levels in our city should emancipate the mind and accelerate industrial transformation in accordance with the strategy of "innovation lead, open up" and "industry-led, all-round development", and improve the industrial chain by introducing talent; should further promote the model of "Tourism + Rehabilitation" and strengthen regional cooperation with neighboring Shaoguan and Ganzhou to improve the quality of tourism; should further develop the exhibition economy, mineral gem industry and new materials industry, and strengthen cooperation with universities to promote industrial research results; should further accelerate the transfer of industries, further strengthen the protection and governance of the Xiangjiang River Basin, and further grasp the poverty alleviation work.

Liu Zhiren said that Chenzhou and Shaoguan are neighbors, mountains and rivers connected, and people exchange a lot and have close relationship. He hoped to further strengthen exchanges and promote cooperation between the two places in the future to create a sense of happiness and a good development environment for the people; also hoped that Chenzhou, Shaoguan, and Ganzhou should strengthen regional cooperation and actively promote the national development strategy, strive for more policy support from the state, especially seek cooperation space in the pilot, and other aspects.
