From July 24 to 25, Vice Minister of Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department, Director of Provincial Civilization Office, and Director of Provincial Volunteer Office Liu Jinneng led the investigation team to inspect the Lei Feng volunteer service work for public cultural facilities, and carried out special investigations on the classification and evaluation of voluntary service organizations in Hunan Province. Municipal Committee and Minister of Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department Feng Haiyan participated in the activities.

At present, the registered volunteers reach more than 716 thousand people in whole city, accounting for 13.8% of the city population, and the registered volunteer service team is more than 860 teams.

The investigation team supervised in the Shonan Uprising Memorial Hall, City Library, City Museum and other places, and inspected the volunteer work in the Lei Feng's house workstations in People's Road Street Office, Beihu District, Chenzhou Creative Volunteers Association, the State Grid Power Supply Company in Suxian District and other places. At the forum, the investigation team listened to the relevant work report, and solicited opinions and suggestions on the classification and evaluation of voluntary service organizations in Hunan Province.

Liu Jinneng pointed out that the voluntary service standardization is an important condition for promoting the standardization of volunteer service organizations. It was very meaningful to promote this work on carrying out useful exploration in the standardization, institutionalization and normalization of volunteer service by means of standardization. He hoped that Chenzhou should find out the situation of volunteer organizations, and regulate the large teams. The relevant units should further strengthen the communication, draw the good experience and practices of voluntary services management in the standard development process, promote the development of volunteer service organizations and management, and build a good volunteer service team through innovation, exploration and practice.

Feng Haiyan pointed out that we should solve the problems that who will evaluate and how to evaluate. The industry authorities should be responsible for the evaluation work; should evaluate the voluntary service projects from the weak link; should do a good job of standardizing the internal management of voluntary organizations, and ensure that voluntary organizations operate in a rational and scientific way.
