Liu Zhiren investigates the development of graphite industry in the High-tech Zone.

On the afternoon of July 26, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor Liu Zhiren personally went to grassroots to find problems, solve problems and increase efficiency, and conduct the investigation on the development of graphite industry. Liu Zhiren stressed to implement the development strategy of the municipal graphite industry, accelerate the development pace of the graphite industry, and strive to build out city into the national and global graphene and new materials industry demonstration base, world-class graphene industry development base and the "leader" of graphene industry.

Liu Zhiren came to Hunan Guosheng Graphite Technology Co., Ltd and Hunan Mingda Carbon Company in Chenzhou High-tech Zone to understand the business development and operation, technological innovation, project construction and other conditions.

In the subsequent forum, Liu Zhiren carefully listened to the speeches of responsible person in municipal related departments and the main person in charge of the graphite enterprise in our city. Liu Zhiren pointed out that the current period is the rapid development of the graphite industry. The whole city should attach great importance to fully support the development of the graphite industry, adhere to the problem-oriented, and open up the "green channel", to solve problems and create a quality environment for the industrial development and technological innovation. The graphite enterprises should adhere to the resources sharing, and together to build Chenzhou into national and global graphene and new materials industry demonstration base, world-class graphene industry development base and the "leader" of graphene industry.

Liu Zhiren stressed that we should coordinate and strengthen the top-level design; should do a good plan, take out the city's graphene and new materials industry development plan before the end of this year to guide the industrial development with high level of planning; should built a graphene park and promote to choose site, landing and start as soon as possible; should grasp a standard, and vigorously promote the city's graphene production and inspection standard system construction, to seize the commanding heights of technical standards of graphene industry; should use of Chenzhou national graphite product quality supervision and inspection center, speed up the construction of New Materials Engineering Technology Research Institute of South Graphite and the joint research and development on graphene of Hunan Guosheng Graphite Technology Co., Ltd., and promote the exchange of technology, the use of results, talent introduction and the related industrial base construction in our city relying on the related policy research platform.

Liu Zhiren stressed that we should strengthen research and cooperation, and promote innovation and development; should seize the initiative, form the joint efforts, introduce a dedicated team, and establish the research cooperation and collaborative innovation mechanism, to form a complete innovation chain and industry chain; should play the main function of the market and attract investment from the large-scale graphite enterprises; should grasp the optimization services and provide one-stop and nanny tracking service to solve problems for local graphite enterprises; should grasp targeted helping in industrial guidance funds, venture capital introduction and so on; should grasp the capacity application to perfect graphene research results into the mechanism and further improve the efficiency of scientific and technological achievements; should grasp mechanism to explore around promoting the industry development, talent introduction, innovation and incubation platform, operation and use, and investment mechanism.
