On July 31, the CPC Chenzhou Institute of Technicians held a member conference to elect a new college party committee.

On behalf of the Chenzhou Municipal Committee of the CPC, Vice Mayor He Jianxiang congratulated the successful convocation of member conference. He pointed out that we should stress the politics, overall situation, and party spirit, and adhere to the rules of election to ensure the justice and clean of general election and the successfully achievement of the organizational intent; the new leaders should further emancipate the mind, clear the thinking, work hard, and strive to build the Chenzhou Institute of Technicians into the outstanding academic institutions with distinctive features to make new contributions to speed up the construction of "five Chenzhou".

Subsequently, the first session of the CPC Chenzhou Institute of Technicians held its first plenary meeting, and elected Xie Gefei as the first Party Secretary of Chenzhou Institute of Technicians, and Li Xiongjian and Luo Lijun as Deputy Party Secretary of the institute.
