To actively respond to the call of vigorously developing tea industry of the county Party committee and government, Daping Town organized the town and village cadres, village representative and more than 70 NPC members to investigate and inspect in the Hantang tea base in Quanshui Town, Songxi tea base in Quanshui Town and other surrounding tea planting demonstration sites.

At present, Daping Town has more than 1000 mu of old tea gardens and plans to develop more than 1500 mu of new tea gardens conforming to the requirements of the new era to make Daping mining area green again, barren hills into tea gardens and tea gardens into parks by planting tea, realize the target of green hills, clear water and blue sky in Daping Town and also promote employment poverty alleviation.

After the investigation and inspection, the NPC representatives expressed satisfaction with the development of tea in the town and believed that the tea industry is a good industry for the people and nation with broad market prospects, so that we should give full play to the role of representatives and take the lead in developing new tea gardens. They hoped that the town government should do a good job in serving the tea industry development and incline the project funds to tea industry to develop the Daping brand tea.
