From November 4th to 7th, the 2nd "Hunan style, ink charm" Hunan exhibition of contemporary Chinese painting and calligraphy masters, and calligraphy and painting exchange festival were held in Jia Binhu Cultural and Commercial Park of Jiahe County, which not only gave many fans and the masses in Jiahe County a close look at the paintings of the famous artists, but also provided a learning and communication platform for local writers and artists.

The event, sponsored by Hunan Furong Painting Academy exhibited a total of 175 traditional Chinese paintings, oil paintings, watercolor paintings and other painting and calligraphy works, which were basically created by famous Chinese painting and calligraphy masters from Hunan. The powerful calligraphy works, colored oil paintings and vivid figure paintings showed the excellent artistic foundation and good spirit of the calligraphy and painting masters. The exhibition also showed the works of Li Ruguang, who is a famous calligrapher and painter from Jiahe County. Li Ruguang graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Hunan Normal University in 1965 and was transferred to teach the traditional Chinese figure and landscape painting in Hunan Normal University after 30 years' work at the grassroots level in 1978. He is good at meticulous figure painting and is a professor of Fine Arts now. At the day of the event, Li Ruguang appeared on the scene and exchanged the creative experience with the calligraphy and painting fans.
