Recently, the Dongjiang water diversion project water pipeline laying was carried out smoothly, the total length of 32 kilometers, which constructed in five segments at the same time and was expected to realize the water conditions before the Spring Festival next year. The Dongjiang water diversion project is a key construction project in Chenzhou city and also a major project for people's livelihood in Chenzhou City, which started construction in September 2014. The project takes water from Dongjiang Lake, a national 5A scenic spot, and transports it to Chenzhou City and Zixing City to solve the urban water demand in the middle and remote cities.
