On December 19th, Deputy Party Secretary Mayor Liu Zhiren held talks with He Jian, Chairman of CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade) and Party Secretary. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the open economy, exhibition economy and foreign exchanges and reached the consensus on related cooperation issues.

The CCPIT is a provincial foreign economic organization composed of the representative people, enterprises, associations and organizations in the economic and trade circles of Hunan Province, founded in 1978. Since its establishment, the organization has set up 3 bridges between domestic and foreign countries, enterprises and governments, and enterprises and enterprises, and provided 6 services, such as the international liaison, international exhibition, international economic and trade information, international economic and trade law, international training, and international economic and trade agency, which has played an important role in the economic construction of Hunan.

Liu Zhiren thanked the CCPIT for the support on Chenzhou economic and social development over the years, especially for the strong support on the open economy of Chenzhou. Liu said that the CCPIT has implemented the spirit of CPC National Congress, volunteered to serve the local economy and the grass-roots level, and did a lot of work in promoting Chenzhou in the exhibition. He also hoped that the CCPIT could play its own advantages, continue to focus on the support of Chenzhou, help Chenzhou development, dock with the Belt and Road, help Chenzhou speed up the construction of open economy, and implement the spirit of CPC National Congress to be the model and benchmark of implementing the strategy of the "Innovation leading and open rising"; could strengthen the docking on the investment, resource, intelligence, technology, innovation, products and so on.

Chenzhou will also play the advantages of humanities, resources, ecology, transportation, opening and so on, and actively dock with Top 500 enterprises, the New Silk Road, Free Trade Zone, Hunan Chamber of Commerce, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area to promote the development of Chenzhou's open economy; will make greater efforts to open up, support Chenzhou to build the "South Pole" of Hunan's open economy and support the development of Chenzhou's exhibition economy to jointly create a new chapter of the open economic development of Hunan. Next, Chenzhou will thoroughly carry out the spirit of 19th CPC National Congress, expand the opening up on the guiding of socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era of Xi Jinping to build the most open city in Hunan, promote the new pattern of open economy in Chenzhou and promote the industrial transformation of Chenzhou.

He Jian said that the CCPIT is a public organization with the most sound network of foreign economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, the fastest channels and the most professional service to serve the government and the enterprises, which will give full play to its own platform advantages, support Chenzhou to hold various kinds of exhibitions and vigorously develop the exhibition economy; will also organize Chenzhou enterprises to participate in international exhibitions to promote foreign exchanges, cooperation and economic trade at the same time. He hoped that the two sides could sign the cooperation framework agreement as soon as possible and further strengthen cooperation and docking.
