On December 28th, 2017, the Home Gardening Competition Press Conference was held in our city, which marked the official start of the first home gardening competition in our city.

It was reported that the competition began on December 2017 and will last until the end of October 1st 2018. The event site was tentatively designated as Wuling Square, Yuhou Street, Suxian Fudi Square and model houses of various housing enterprises. Residents of the city can participate in the competition, and the community streets of Suxian District and Beihu District, Chenzhou High-Tech Zone Management Committee, Education System, Urban Management System, Forestry System and all enterprises and associations can organize groups to participate in the competition. The competition requires the participants to focus on the theme of "happy family and colorful gardening", adhere to the principles of nature and humanity, and tradition and modern, and pay attention to the idea of ecological design to design the gardening works with special features and stories.

During the competition, the share meeting of home gardening works in the form of speech contest, flower arrangement competition and other gardening leisure competition activities will be held; the participants will share the gardening works with the public on the basis of stories; the experts and scholars will hold gardening knowledge lectures; the "Spring Festival Flower Fair", "Celebrate Spring Festival with flowers" and other series of gardening activities will be carried out during Spring Festival; "the most beautiful home gardening works interview" and other activities will be held.
