At the beginning of the new year, Linyi Xiandu historic and cultural blocks of Chenzhou long scroll project in the Guanshandong Street, Suxian District was fully completed and other sub-projects were under construction. The project leader introduced that the project was the national preferred tourism project that aimed to restore the "Nine streets and 18 lanes" in Chenzhou history. The project completed the investment of more than 400 million yuan in 2017, exceeding the plan by 15%.

Feitian Mountain

Suxian District is the first batch of national tourism demonstration areas creating units. The district planned to invest about 30 billion yuan from 2016 to 2020 to carry out more than 40 tourism construction projects, including the improvement of Feitian Mountain National Geopark, Wangxianling Tourist Resort, Suxianling and some other fine scenic spots, and the construction of Suling Ladder, Feitian Danxia and other city theme landscapes to set up a large "skeleton" for the development of global tourism. Suxian District also planned to develop the Chenzhou Avenue leisure tourist belt, the West River ecological scenery belt and other 5 tourist routes, and build 8 thematic tourist towns, 30 rural tourism feature villages and 50 rural tourism demonstration sites.

In order to turn the blueprint into reality, Suxian District has introduced more than 20 key tourism projects through attracting investment in the past 2 years, with a total investment of about 20 billion yuan. At present, more than 90% have been started. In order to speed up the construction of tourism projects, Suxian District has implemented the "five one" working mechanism, that is a project with a district-level responsibility leader, a project promotion team, a project implementation plan and grasping to the end. In the past two years, the district has also invested more than 1 billion yuan in promoting the infrastructure construction in the West River ecological scenery belt, Jiulong Water Village and other scenic spots.

It was understood that the investment in tourism projects of Suxian District in 2017 increased by 15.6% over the previous year; all district received more than 7.2 million visitors, realizing comprehensive tourism income of 6.3 billion yuan, an increase of 23% and 24% respectively.
