In recent years, the Municipal Standing Committee and the municipal government have attached great importance to the scientific and technological innovation work, vigorously optimized the development environment of science and technology innovation, and issued the "Opinions on speeding up science and technology innovation" and other 20 innovation policies. The Municipal Science and Technology Bureau has actively planned, took the initiative to act, unswervingly carried out the strategies of "Innovation leading, opening up" and "Industry leading and developing in an all-round way", and won 4 national honors, 22 provincial honors and 33 city-level honors in the past 5 years. Our city has accelerated the construction of regional science and technology innovation system, Chenzhou High-tech Zone has successfully been upgraded into a national high-tech zone and the technical and trade income exceeded 100 billion yuan; the city had 16 incubators for science and technology enterprises. At the same time, our city has promoted the rapid development of high and new technology industry, forming two major innovative industrial clusters of non-ferrous metals and LED. The bureau has organized non-ferrous metal leading enterprises and universities to set up the first strategic alliance of technological innovation in Chenzhou City, a strategic alliance for technological innovation in rare and expensive metal industries, with 10 scientific and technological achievements of various domestic advanced and above levels.
