On January 24th, Huang Weiqing, Director of Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau, investigated the water quality monitoring situation of Wushui Watershed water functional area in Linwu and Yizhang counties.

Since 2017, 21 provincial water function areas have been monitored and 93 municipal water function areas have been covered with water quality monitoring. Statistics showed that the provincial water function area in our city reached the standard rate of 85.7 in 2017, which met the requirements of the "three red lines" control index of the strictest water resources management system. (In 2017, the standard rate control target of water function area was 82%).

In order to further improve the standard rate of the water function area, Huang Weiqing attached great importance to it and led the responsible person of the Water Resources Department and Municipal Hydrographic Bureau to carry on the field investigation to the monitoring section of the Wushui water function area. The investigation group listened to the reports on water resources management of the water conservancy departments in Linwu and Yizhang counties and learned about the water quality monitoring in the Wushui Watershed water function area. The Hydrology Department collected water samples on the spot.

Huang Weiqing requested Linwu and Yizhang counties to do a good job of river cleaning in Wushui Watershed, actively cooperate with the Hydrological Department to monitor water quality and further improve the water quality standard rate of water function areas.
