On January 23rd 2018, Chenzhou Health and Family Planning Commission carried out field examination and investigation on key health work in 2017 in Zixing City.

Gong Huibin, Director of Zixing City Health and Family Planning Bureau reported on the key health work in 2017. In 2017, Zixing City actively carried out the "work implementation year" activities of health and family planning, took implementation as an important means of promoting work, focused on small and fine work, and implemented the tasks, successfully passing the first cycle of national health city review. A number of community health service centers won the masses community health service institutions of province and Chenzhou, and the Xinmin Community of Tangdong Street in Zixing City was awarded the advanced unit of the National Family Planning Association. Zixing First People's Hospital was awarded the Chenzhou Pingan Hospital. Zixing City also was identified as the only healthy city in Hunan Province in 38 pilot cities, which experiences were shared throughout the country.

In 2017, Zixing City done a lot of work and has achieved gratifying results in solidly promoting the comprehensive reform of public hospitals, accelerating the construction of the cascaded medical system, gradually improving the family doctors contract service, vigorously implementing the health poverty alleviation project, supporting the social capital development to provide medical services, vigorously developing the combination of medical and nursing, further improving the drug supply guarantee mechanism, establishing and improving a comprehensive regulatory system, making every effort to promote equalization of basic public health services, doing a good job in maternal and child health services, strengthening disease prevention and control work, speeding up the development of traditional Chinese medicine, welcoming the Central Environmental Protection Unit to supervise and inspect the work, handling emergencies timely and effectively, trying to solve the difficult problem of the reform of primary medical institutions, doing the best in health education and patriotic health movement and so on.

The assessment group gave full affirmation to the key health work in Zixing City, and considered that the municipal party committee and government paid attention to the innovative work and good service, and was in the forefront of Chenzhou in the construction of medical partnerships, the family doctors contract service, the medical assistance for pneumoconiosis patients, the reform of "one time completion", the work of family planning association and so on. They pointed out the existing problems and require timely rectification.

Director Gong Huibin made a statement and pointed out that the inspection and guidance of Chenzhou assessment group is a powerful promotion to the work of Zixing City, which has an important guiding significance for promoting the progress of work. He stressed that the health and family planning system in Zixing should pay more attention to the work implementation with higher standard, pay attention to strengthening responsibility, make greater efforts to improve the quality of the transition, fully implement the "Healthy China Strategy" proposed in the 19th National Congress report, further change the work principle and style, and provide reliable guarantee for promoting the construction of healthy Zixing.
