Recently, the reporter learned from Chenzhou Food and Drug Administration that the National Standards Committee recently issued a notice that the standards of "bismuth waste", "tellurium waste" and "selenium waste" drafted by Hunan Rongpeng Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Jinrun Tellurium Co., Ltd. and Yongxing Xinyu Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. were formally approved as the national projects after expert evaluation and social publicity.

It was reported that in order to realize the efficient recycling of renewable resources in the field of non-ferrous metals, and the low cost, low energy consumption, low material consumption, low water consumption, industrial standardization and large-scale recycling of resources, the state has issued supportive encouraging policies, requiring local revision and formulation of relevant standards in line with industrial structure, conservation of resources and protection of the environment in recent years. In response to the national policy, Yongxing County, in coordination with the Food and Drug Administration and other functional departments in this county, actively organized relevant enterprises to formulate the "bismuth, tellurium, selenium" standards with the preferred development strategy of "China Silver City". The approved national standards project will play a positive role in improving the quality of rare and precious metals in China, promoting recycling, industrial technological progress and sustainable development, protecting the consumption of primary bismuth, tellurium and selenium resources in China, reducing environmental pollution and energy consumption from mining and processing, improving resource protection and reasonable utilization level, and accelerating transformation and upgrading of nonferrous metals industry.
