A few days ago, the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau reported the monitoring results of the environmental air and surface water quality in the cities and counties in 2017, the air quality excellent rate in our city ranking the first in the whole province.

In 2017, the number of fine days in urban area was 327 days and the excellent and good rate was 89.6%, an increase of 0.3% over the same period last year, the air quality ranking the first in the whole province. According to the comprehensive index evaluation of urban air quality, the top three of 11 counties were Guidong County, Rucheng County and Linwu County, and the bottom three were Suxian District, Guiyang County and Beihu District. Among them, Guidong County ranked the first and Rucheng County ranked the third in the province.

In 2017, the surface water quality in the whole city was excellent and the water quality compliance rate of the centralized drinking water source was 100%.In the 38 assessment sections, class Ⅰ- Ⅲ (excellent) water quality was 37 sections, accounting for 97.4%; class Ⅳ (mild pollution) water quality was 1 section, accounting for 2.6%.
