Recently, the "National Youth Legal Education Demonstration City" summarizing and commending meeting was held in Chenzhou. At the meeting Beihu District Comprehensive Management Office and other 29 units were awarded the "Youth Legal Education Advanced Unit in the city", and Qiu Wenzhen and other 42 comrades were awarded the "Youth Legal Education Advanced Individual in the city".

In recent years, Chenzhou worked solidly and advanced steadily with the working thought of "laying a good foundation, perfecting the system, exploring laws, popularizing and deepening" to play an important role in promoting the healthy growth of young people in the city. In recent years, there have been no major youth safety accidents and the juvenile crime rate has dropped significantly. The experience in youth legal education and establishing in Chenzhou has been affirmed and popularized by China Cares for the Next Generation Working Committee, the Ministry of Justice and the Central Office of Comprehensive Management. Chenzhou City was awarded the glorious title of "National Youth Legal Education Demonstration City", and Beihu, Suxian, Zixing, Yizhang and Anren (cities, districts) won the glorious titles of "National Youth Legal Education Demonstration Area". 29 units, 58 zero-crime schools and 109 individuals were commended by the China Cares for the Next Generation Working Committee, the Ministry of Justice and the Central Office of Comprehensive Management.

Liu Zhiwei, Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Member and Secretary of Municipal Law, attended the meeting and congratulated the award-winning units and individuals. He pointed out that the healthy growth of young people is the common responsibility of the whole society, and the Party committees and governments at all levels should further improve the political position, really stand at the Chinese Dream strategic height to ensure the succession of the Party's cause and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with the guide of 19th National Congress spirit, and better plan and promote the work of caring for the next generation in the new era; should strengthen the organization and leadership, further improve the working mechanism, strengthen the team building, and extensively mobilize and create a good atmosphere for the whole society to pay attention to and support the youth legal publicity and education; should stress the key points of education, further grasp the youth legal publicity and education, strengthen the construction of campus legal culture, and strive to build a new pattern of youth legal education with Chenzhou characteristics.
