Recently, Yang Shuming, Party member and Deputy Director of Zixing Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, and Xie Xianfang, Deputy Mayor of Zixing City, led a team to conduct an investigation on industrial transformation and upgrading to improve people's livelihood in the Dongjiang reservoir area of Huangcao Town, Zixing City. The leaders visited Qiancheng Village, Jinshui Village and Lei Gongxian Village in Huangcao Town, convened a forum for village cadres, Party members and representatives and visited the representatives of various industries. At the same time, they hold forums with the person in charge of forestry, agriculture, fishery administration and other departments, some village cadres, Zixing Party representatives, Zixing NPC members and Zixing CPPCC members, and deeply understood the development of planting, breeding, forestry, tourism and other various industries, the present situation, difficulties and reasons of the masses going out to work, daily life, etc., the condition of citrus Huanglongbing (HLB), progress in prevention and control and the next work plan in the reservoir area.

The research results showed that the networking road connecting with Pingru High-speed Tianzhuang interworking port with Xiarong Expressway Lingxiu interworking port will be built as soon as possible to open the south and east gates of Dongjiang Lake, the "Jinfu Bridge" construction project of building the bridges linking Futan Village and Jinla Village, Tantou Village and Fenglin Village, and Longxing Village and Yuanxing Village will be launched as soon as possible to form a road network around the lake in Huangcao town, which will connect all the scenic spots in Huangcao Town and also make all administrative villages of the whole town to form a unified whole by roads. How to make the industrial transformation plan and the policy support in the transitional period is the most concerned issue for the ordinary people in the reservoir area at present and in the future.

Yang Shuming pointed out in the investigation that for the industrial transformation in the reservoir area, first, increase the intensity of land circulation and form the collectivization and scale of the industry; second, seize the opportunity and vigorously promote the industrial transformation in the reservoir area; third, increase the strength of guidance and service, and formulate a scientific industry support policy; fourth, increase transportation construction in the reservoir area and improve infrastructure for people's livelihood.
