Yi Pengfei, Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Director of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress, investigated some work concerned for safety production, social stability, forest fire prevention, water and electricity supply, and etc. during the Spring Festival. Yi emphasized that sound dispatch, duty schedule, and accountability should be carried out by relative departments to grant people with a safe and harmonious festival.

Water and electricity supply is one of the key well-being topics concerned by Yi. The investigation team visited Chengdong Substation of Chendian International Group, Changcheng Gas Staion in Tongxin Road, and Chenzhou Water Company, and learned that current water and electricity supply condition of Chenzhou urban areas are stable. Yi expressed his best wishes to the workers who will be on duty in the holiday. He also emphasized that no safety accident is allowed during the holiday; water and electricity supply should be guaranteed; and better propaganda work should be carried out to popularize safe and conserved spends on water, electricity, and gas. In the meantime, services should be upgraded as well.

Yi followed passengers’ route from ticket office, waiting room, entrance, exit, transfer points, and etc. to check the transport condition of Chenzhou Xi Station of high speed train. Yi said to the principals of the train station that they should enhance the management work and fight against illegal behaviours to ensure passengers come back home safely without suffering bad traffic jams there.

Yi checked and dispatched the forest fire prevention work via the video monitoring system in Chenzhou Forestry Bureau. Mangshan County was selected randomly to check its on-duty work. Yi stated that all counties and villages should pay great attention on the fire prevention to ensure no fire accident happen during the holiday. Strict fire source control and responsibility scheme should be carried out by relative departments. Once any fire accident occurs, it should be reported, handled, and controlled promptly.

Chenzhou Forest Fire Command Center was required to play its best roles on scheduling and commanding carefully and efficiently.

Yi visited some shopping malls and farmers’ markets in urban area. He asked to ensure sufficient supply as well as stable price during the holiday. Sound shopping conditions should be provided by the malls and markets, including safe fire-fighting facilities and food safety.

Yi paid special attention on the workers who worked outside. He visited the sanitary workers, urban management team members, and traffic polices near Shiliuwan Park, Qingnian Avenue, and Guoqing South Road and highly appreciated all their contributions to the city. Thanks to the hardworking handled by them, Chenzhou City can be kept tidy, clear, and civilized, so all people and departments should pay more concern about their demands. They deserved it.

Yi also emphasized that in order to improve the air condition and grant people with safe festival atmosphere, all people should follow relative rules concerned for fireworks – no fireworks allowed in the central urban area at all. In the meantime, more festival decoration should be handled out by relative departments to make the city with more joys of festival.
