February 16, 2018 was the first day of Chinese New Year of Dog, some villagers of Yuanfu Village, Linwu County performed the 150-meter long dragon dance on that day to celebrate the New Year. The audience was impressed with the colorful dancing ways shown by the dancing team.

One of the audience who came back from Shanghai to spend the holiday amazed that: “I never saw such a long dragon dance for over a decade. It is worthful to come back home this year!”

Yuanfu Village is located in southeast of Linwu County, adjacent to Linwu County from the east and Lianzhou, Guangdong Province from the south. There are about 1700 villagers (400 families) locally. Yuanfu folk songs, lion dancing, dragon dancing, and other folk cultures are available there. Per the dragon dancing, it is with over 400years history.
