‘Thank you very much! My legs are much better now!’ Carlo who is Uruguay Swimming Team member expressed his highly appreciation to Dr. Zhou Chongzheng – a doctor of Rehabilitation Department of Chenzhou 3rd Hospital.

The South American Games will be opened soon. Uruguay Swimming Team was training on the swimming center of Longnv Landscape of Beihu District from January 25th, 2018. On February 9th, 2018, due to the knee ligament function failure, Carlo can’t keep the training courses properly. On learning the details, the doctors of Rehabilitation Department of Chenzhou 3rd Hospital handled out relative rehabilitation processes to Carlo.

‘Everything is going well currently. He can keep training days later,’ introduced by Zhou Chongzheng. The swimming center of Longnv Hot Spring is located in a sound geological place which guarantees the hot water condition can be suitable for training in all four seasons. Many professional teams are attracted here for concentrated training everything year. Many sportsmen are suffered from lumbar muscle degeneration, scapulohumeral periarteritis, and some other occupational diseases due to long time training. The Swimming Center of Longnv Hot Spring and the hospital reached an agreement that some doctors will be dispatched to the center for caring the rehabilitation of sportsmen trained there.

‘That is just one part of Beihu District’s devotion on improving Longnv Hot Spring to be a special health town,’ introduced by a principal of Beihu Commercial Bureau. In recent years, Beihu District played the best location advantages of Longnv Hot Spring to improve it to be special health town with the functions as health, fitness, retirement care, leisure, tourism, and etc., coring on health industry. Currently, a rehabilitation hospital has been established in the town, and Biguiyuan Longnv rehabilitation project is being constructed as well. Once the special town was established, the problem as more expensive expenditure and demands on rehabilitation caused by increase of population and economy would be eased. Meanwhile, it would be helpful for integrating the industrial resources of medical treatment, cultural tourism, education, and health, and improving Beihu District’s leaping development from regional tourism destination to international resort destination.
