On March 1st, the press conference was held in Guangzhou on the theme of "traveling China · entering Chenzhou - 2018 Guangdong people travel Chenzhou theme activities", organized by the Chenzhou Municipal Tourism and Foreign Affairs Bureau and Chenzhou Tourism Resources Federation. The travel salesman representatives and dozens of mainstream media from Guangzhou and other places participated in the event.

At the press conference, Chenzhou City issued a series of preferential policies for tourists from Guangdong Province, made a key recommendation around Dongjiang Lake Scenic spot, Mangshan Mountain, Rucheng Hot Spring, West River Scenery Belt and the Central District Leisure Tourism Circle, and recommended a 3-day classic tour route for Guangdong tourists. The azalea season theme activities in Mangshan Mountain were also announced and the evaluation activities of "Guangdong people's favorite tourist destination and brand on 2018" were launched at the site.

It was reported that the conference aimed to promote Chenzhou tourism products, enhance the exchange and cooperation between the two places in the tourism industry, and meticulously cultivate and create tourism brands suitable for the development of the tourism industry in both places at the same time. The traveling salesman representatives from Guangdong province said they hoped to go to Chenzhou, promote Chenzhou and strive for more cooperation achievement.
