On March 9th, Hunan Anren Ganfenshe and the 10th Cole Flower Festival opened in the Rice Field Park, the national 4A scenic area.

In March, 250,000 mu of cole flowers in Anren gradually blooming, is one of the most suitable places for viewing cole flowers. The Rice Field Park opened in 2014 is an "Agricultural Wetland Park" which integrates agricultural demonstration, farming experience, popular science education, tourism, leisure and entertainment, receiving more than 2 million tourists with tourism income of 200 million yuan each year. Through the deep integration of "agricultural + tourism + poverty alleviation", Anren City explored a road of tourism poverty alleviation and created the Cole Flower Festival into a beautiful business card of Anren's tourism.
12 major events will be held in the festival, such as the rice sculpture contest, ploughing ceremony, trade fair, photography competition, Shennong pesticide ancestor sacrificial activities, herbal stew pig foot tasting, hiking and so on, which will last from the opening day to the end of March.
