On March 10th, the opening ceremony of Hong Kong Hear Talk Foundation was held in the First People's Hospital of the city.

The "Hearing Project", sponsored by the Hongkong Hear Talk Foundation and the Institute of Human Communication Sciences of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, is a large public charity activity to save poor hearing-impaired children and relieve the suffering of patients with ear diseases, which has been widely praised by the society since 2005.

The event has invited the first-class ear disease experts to carry on 40 surgeries and 120 expert free consultations.

Vice Mayor He Jianxiang took part in the activities and required that we should stand at the height of the strategy of healthy China put forward by 19th National Congress, attach importance to this work, give close cooperation and ensure the success of the event; should provide strong and effective organizational support for centralized ear surgeries, and provide meticulous, thoughtful and high-quality services to experts and patients of "Hearing Project"; should fully cooperate with the treatment of ear surgery under the specific guidance of the medical team experts and professors to ensure the success; should do a good job in publicizing the activities, guide all sectors of society to pay attention to, care for and support the health and poverty alleviation assistive cause, and convey love to give the poor more warmth and genuine feelings, and help them solve their practical difficulties.
