With the coming of the 36th International Consumer Rights Day, Zixing Consumer Council and Municipal Administration of Food and Drug Industry and Commerce Quality Supervision launched a series of activities with the theme of "Quality consumption, good Life" in 2018.

First, they will organize and hold a meeting of governing members of the Municipal Consumer Council and a press briefing on "3.15" to report on the work carried out in 2017, deploy the ideas of work in 2018, and announce to the news media the hot spots of consumer complaints in 2017; second, focusing on the theme of "Quality consumption, good Life" and combining the actual situation of Zixing City, they will launch a multi-sector joint "3.15" International Consumer Rights Day publicity service activity at 9 o'clock on March 15th 2018 in the People's Square, receiving complaints and consumer consultation, distributing propaganda materials on consumer rights, and conducting consumer education activities; third, to carry out a special campaign to fight against counterfeiting. Since February 26th, the governing members of the Municipal Consumer Council, and the relevant business units and supervision offices of the Municipal Administration of Food and Drug Industry and Commerce Quality Supervision, have carried out a one-month special activities to combat counterfeiting and safeguard rights in the fields of food, drugs, special equipment, agricultural production material and so on in the new district, Dongjiang, Sandu, Xingning and other areas.

The series of publicity activities aim to comprehensively promote the awareness and execution of the new "Law of the PRC on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Consumers" in the whole society, further enhance the effectiveness of consumer rights protection, and strive to create a good consumption environment.
