Recently, Municipal Committee Office System and Municipal Committee Policy Research Office held the "Reading Party of February". Municipal Standing Committee and the Secretary-General of Municipal Committee Ouyang Feng attended the meeting.

The meeting conveyed the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at a forum to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Comrade Zhou Enlai's birth; read out the implementation plan of "skill enhancement year" activity and commended the advanced individuals in 2017. The meeting also held the lectures on the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy and shared the study experiences of visiting in Hong Kong.

Ouyang Feng pointed out that holding reading party was a concrete measure for conscientiously studying and implementing the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress and making efforts to build a contingent of highly qualified and specialized cadres, so we must persist in it, constantly innovate and promote the combination of study and application. Learning is a lifelong cause. We should not only read the "useful" book, but also the "useless" book, and seriously study political theory, humanistic knowledge and professional knowledge to constantly enhance core competitiveness and develop unique skills; should not only read the books with characters, but also the books without characters, and insist on more research, thinking and practice to constantly improve the level of "three services"; should not only read the known book, but also the unknown book, and always read the classics and be curious about the unknown, to explore the truth and embrace the future with courage.
