On March 14th, the reporter learned from Chenzhou Municipal Commission of Economic and Information that Chenzhou Jingui Silver and other 24 enterprises were selected in the list of the top 50 enterprises of industrial scale benefit in the nonferrous metal industry in Hunan Province issued by Provincial Nonferrous Metals Administration in 2017.

Among the 24 selected enterprises, Jingui Silver, Jinwang Bismuth, Huaxin Nonferrous, Yuteng Nonferrous and Yingxing Nonferrous were selected in the top 10 of the province.

It was understood that Chenzhou City firmly grasped the favorable opportunity of gradually rising prices of nonferrous metals, and actively took measures to achieve certain results in improving the quality of varieties, adjusting the industrial structure and technological innovation, realizing steady improvement of scale benefit of nonferrous metals industry last year. The data showed that the output value of nonferrous metal industry in our city was 87.54 billion yuan in 2017, an increase of more than 12%; the total profit and tax amount was 5.02 billion yuan, accounting for 18.05 % of the whole city's scale industry.

In addition, Chenzhou City also vigorously implemented the "five one" project of the nonferrous metal industry to promote the development of nonferrous metal industry with further prominent driving effect of leading enterprises. For example, Jingui Silver had strengthened the technological innovation and granted a total of 91 patents by the end of last year, including 68 invention patents; in 2017, the operating income hit 10.6 billion yuan, an increase of 35%, becoming the first industrial enterprise with an operating income of more than 10 billion yuan in Chenzhou. Jinwang Bismuth with the import and export rights in nonferrous metals, new superconducting materials and other fields, made great efforts to create an economic model of resource regeneration and recycling, and the bismuth series products accounted for 50% of the global market share, becoming the enterprise with the largest production capacity and the most complete industrial chain in global bismuth industry.
