On March 16th, the municipal procurator conference and the municipal procuratorial organs party style and clean government construction and anti-corruption work conference were held. The conference summarized and reviewed the procuratorial work of the whole city in 2017 and deployed the key work in 2018. Liu Zhiwei, Municipal Standing Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Law, attended the conference and delivered a speech.

Jiang Tao, Chief Prosecutor of the Municipal People’s Procuratorate, made a work report. The conference commended the advanced grass-roots procuratorates in 2017, and the Chief Procurators of the grass-roots procuratorates submitted the responsibility certificates for building a clean and honest party.

The conference pointed out that with the deepening of the judicial system reform, the overall promotion of the pilot reform of the state supervisory system, and facing the new opportunities and challenges of the procuratorial work, the procuratorial organs in the whole city have embodied the procuratorial responsibility in serving the overall situation; have stimulated the procuratorial vitality in the reform and innovation; have showed the procuratorial image in strict management and love; have consolidated the foundation of prosecutorial cornerstone to jointly hand in a satisfactory answer in the past year.

Liu Zhiwei demanded that the municipal procuratorial organs should adapt to the new requirements of the times development to implement the party's absolute leadership over legal work and procuratorial work; should adapt to the new trend of economic development to contribute procuratorial power to the sustained and healthy development of the whole city's economy and society; should adapt to the new normal of safety construction to earnestly maintain national political security and social harmony and stability; should adapt to the new task of judicial reform and promote the in-depth development of judicial reform and procuratorial reform.
