The conference pointed out that it is our duty to serve economic development and do a solid job in statistical work. The statistical departments of the whole city should accurately grasp the new situation and new requirements of the statistical work in the new era, take the initiative to act actively and make progress actively to ensure the more true statistics data, more scientific index system, more accurate forecast and analysis, and more effective service decision-making. All levels and departments of the city should attach great importance to statistical work, strengthen training, coordination, linkage and communication, and strengthen the coordination and mutual support of statistics to form a pattern of statistical work led by statistical departments and supported by all counties (cities, districts and departments).

The conference stressed that we should continuously improve the statistical system, improve the statistical index system of new development concepts with the goal of achieving high-quality development, further revise and improve the development index system in the five major fields, and explore and carry out the data calculation work of indicator system in different regions; should really improve data quality, firmly grasp improving the quality of statistical data as the lifeline and top priority of statistical work, issue the "Opinions on deepening the statistical management system reform and improving the authenticity of statistical data" as soon as possible, comprehensively implement the supervision and inspection measures of statistical law enforcement, and effectively prevent the falsification of statistical data; should strengthen data monitoring and analysis, focus on the overall situation of economic and social development, find the key points of work, strengthen the tracking and monitoring for key industries, key areas and key indicators, and warn and predict in time to provide reliable statistical data and operable countermeasures and suggestions for the municipal party committee, municipal government and related departments. All departments in the counties and cities and the units in Chenzhou City should carry out a solid economic census, adhere to the principle of starting early, planning early and early deployment, increase personnel, funds, technology and other support efforts, and increase departmental cooperation and participation according to the principle of "unified national leadership, division of labor and coordination between departments, local responsibility at different levels, and joint participation of all parties" to ensure a successful census.
