Hunan's First Smart Virtual Station Landed in Chenzhou

2018-03-23

On the 19th, the first "Small green dot" city virtual station physical installations in Hunan Province were set up in the Jiankang Road, Beihu Road and Tongxin Road respectively in Chenzhou City. The technology was developed by DiDi and won the annual Global Internet Leading Award at the release event of the world's leading Internet technology last year.

According to a person in charge of DiDi, more than 50,000 people in Chenzhou City use DiDi App every day. In the three sections mentioned above, there is a great demand for people to travel. Passengers often encounter the phenomenon of waiting in line or having a car nearby, but it is difficult for a driver to pick up passengers. After using the "Small green dot", the system automatically recommends several best boarding points centered on its current location for the user. When the user selects one of the locations, the system instructs the driver to park there and wait for passengers, no need for both parties to call again for location description communication.

At present, the "Small green spot" urban plan has been launched in 20 cities across the country and will be extended to more cities and regions in the province.
