Recently, China Civilization Network released a public list of the "four 100" advanced and typical activities to promote the learn-from-Lei Feng volunteer service in 2017, and the "Chunmiao Book House Children's Reading Promotion Voluntary Service Project" in Chenzhou City was selected as the list of "100 Best Volunteer Service Projects", which was one of the three selected projects in Hunan Province.

The "Chunmiao Book House Children's Reading Promotion Voluntary Service Project" was jointly carried out by the Chenzhou Library and the Chenzhou Fucheng Volunteers Association to devote to the promotion of children's reading in Chenzhou, which aimed to help children between the ages of 0 and 14 to read, and made them like reading to form a good atmosphere of "Reading becomes a habit " through building love book houses in communities and schools, a variety of reading activities organized by professionally trained reading promotion volunteers, and other ways. Over the past 6 years, the project has raised more than 3 million yuan, set up more than 30 travelling libraries and 40 love book houses in the communities and village groups, served more than 20 schools, set up more than 300 reading promotion sites, and carried out more than 30,000 activities, over 5 million people benefiting from the project.
