On the afternoon of March 28, a teleconference of drug control work in the whole province was held, which reviewed and summarized the situation of drug control in the province in 2017, analyzed the current situation of drug control, and arranged for the province's drug control work in 2018.

The results of the performance evaluation of drug control work in the whole province in 2017 were announced at the meeting, and Chenzhou City was selected as the annual advanced city in drug control work. Then, the "Circular on relief, adjustment and addition of key drug control areas in the province" was read out at the meeting.

The conference pointed out that all departments at all levels in the province must fully understand the importance of doing a good job in drug control work in the new era, further enhance the "four consciousness" and regard doing a good job in drug control work as a major event to maintain the image of the party committee and the government, and safeguard the vital interests of the people; must soberly understand the drug control situation facing our province, resolutely ensure the successful conclusion of the three-year anti-drug campaign, and conscientiously strengthen the organization and leadership of drug control work.

The conference requested that the city and county drug control committee should study and understand in depth, and convey the spirit of the conference in a timely manner; should deepen our ideological understanding and strengthen our determination to fight against drugs; should strengthen the implementation of responsibilities and work together to further advance drug control work throughout the province.
