Recently, the Provincial Statistical Bureau, Provincial Development and Reform Commission，Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau, and other departments jointly released the "Report on the annual evaluation results of the ecological civilization construction in the cities and states in 2016", which published the green development index and public satisfaction in 14 cities and states in the province for the first time, our city's green development index ranking first in the province.

The green development index includes the 6 first level indexes of the resource utilization, environmental management, environmental quality, ecological protection, growth quality and green life, and 54 single indexes, which reflect the green development achievements of all cities and states objectively and comprehensively. In 2016, our city's green development index ranked first with a score of 83.68 among the 14 cities and states of the province.

In addition, the public satisfaction index was 92.25% in the investigation of public ecological environment satisfaction, ranking second in the province, which objectively reflected the "sense of gain" of the public in the construction of ecological civilization.

It was understood that the evaluation results not only showed the annual progress in the construction of ecological civilization in various cities and states, but also will be included in the five-year target assessment of ecological civilization construction, becoming a comprehensive assessment of the party and government leaders and the important basis for cadres' appointment and removal of each city and state.
