It was reported that a total of 36 of 789 km has been included into the provincial "13th Five-Year Plan" trunk road project. All counties (cities and districts) in the whole city have set up the tracking service mechanism, implemented the funds for the preliminary work, opened up green channels, established the city and county joint office, and advanced the preliminary work with high quality and high tempo. So far, 23 of 480km of construction drawings have been approved, accounting for 61% of the planned mileage; 3 of 56km of approval projects have been completed; 4 of 136km of province-department industry opinions and 5 of 117km of other progress projects have been issued.

The trunk road construction in Chenzhou City has been advanced steadily. Chenzhou City has strengthened project management, strengthened project design, construction, quality and safety standardization, started the demonstration construction of "quality projects", established the assessment and evaluation system of "quality projects", strengthened quality inspection for projects under construction, strengthened the inspection and assessment for the projects, and made full efforts to promote the projects start, grasp the construction and ensure the traffic opening. Last year, Chenzhou City has completed the tasks of 6 of 161km additional projects, 8 of 161km additional construction and 8 of 167.4km completion acceptance per year; completed the total investment of 1.556 billion yuan, 104% of provincial assessment; completed 1170.837 km of rural highway upgrading, 156.11% of the provincial key people's livelihood assessment targets.
