The 6th China (Hunan) International Mineral Gem Show (CMGS) will be held in Chenzhou City from May 18 to 22. On the morning of April 10th, the CMGS Organizing Committee held a meeting in Changsha City to schedule the related work. Chen Wenhao, Vice Governor and Director of the CMGS Organizing Committee, required to improve the position, carefully prepare, clear the responsibility and do a solid job in the preparations to build the CMGS into an international first-class exhibition. Li Xianxing, Deputy Director of Organizing Committee and Deputy Secretary General of Provincial Government, Wang Yiou, Director of Provincial Department of Land and Resources, and Liu Zhiren, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor, attended the scheduling meeting.

The 6th CMGS, hosted by the Hunan People's Government and jointly organized by the Chenzhou People's Government and Provincial Department of Land and Resources, will take the "Magical ore crystals, rare bournonite" as the theme, the "Development of CGMS and mineral gem industry" as the theme of the summit forum, and the geoscience popularization, resource display, commodity sales, industry investment and international exchanges as the core content, to promote the development of mineral gems industry in our city by creating the international brand exhibition of mineral gems and accelerating the construction of mineral gems industry park. The 6th CMGS will be arranged in accordance with the "1+4" pattern, in which the core pavilion has an exhibition area of 120,000 square meters with 2800 international standard booths. At present, all booths have been booked, a total of more than 1000 exhibitors, including 350 international exhibitors. Other preparations for the show are also proceeding as planned.

Chen Wenhao, Vice Governor of Provincial People's Government and Director of the CMGS Organizing Committee, said that the 6th CMGS is an important international event held by our province with a great significance. We should fully mobilize, closely push forward, conscientiously grasp all the preparatory work, and strive to make this event a more distinctive, more international and influential event; should set up an influential platform for foreign investment promotion, publicity and tourism culture through the holding of CMGS; should carefully prepare and build the show with a higher spirit and standard; should play the role of the market and make the show better year after year, more market-oriented year after year, and more commercial year after year; must develop local industries and achieve a qualitative leap through the CMGS holding; should do well in planning, scientific programming , market- oriented operation, professional advancement, outstanding openness and expanding the influence of the show.

Liu Zhiren, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor said the provincial party committee and provincial government have always attached great importance to the CMGS holding. At present, the CMGS is getting better and better with more characteristics and international influence, and has become the window of Hunan province external propaganda, the platform of investment promotion, the carrier of industry development, the window of popularizing knowledge of science. Chenzhou City will make every effort to make preparations to ensure the safety and efficiency, good service and complete success of the CMGS.
