The top rhodochrosite, "Empress of China"

The reporter just learned from the CMGS Organizing Committee that the world's top two manganites, known as the "Emperor of China" and "Empress of China" will be displayed at the 6th CMGS to achieve a "reunion" across the ocean.

The "Emperor of China" and "Empress of China", found in Cangwu County, Guangxi in 2009, are the largest single crystal and best quality rhodochrosites found in China at present. For various reasons, the "Emperor of China" was transported back to China and the "Empress of China" stayed in the United States. Since then, these two rhodochrosites have been separated from the ocean.

Zheng Jianrong, General Manager of Chenzhou International Mineral and Gem Expo Co., Ltd., said: "We have basically negotiated with the Hunan Geological Museum and are willing to ship the Emperor of China here. However, we would like to have the Empress of China and Emperor of China on display at the same time and we're still talking about the display of the Emperor of China."
