On April 13th, Wei Xiaoan, Chief Expert of the World Tourism Cities Federation, and his party visited Chenzhou City to help the development of tourism industry in our city. Yi Pengfei, Municipal Party Secretary and Chairman of Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee presided over the forum.

Wei Xiaoan and his party went deep into the Suxian District, Guidong County, Rucheng County, Yizhang County, Yongxing County and other counties and cities, and investigated the tourism development in our city. At the forum, Wei Xiaoan said that the current tourism industry has entered the 3.0 era with development conditions, tourism products, tourism brands and tourism modes and Chenzhou's tourism should be strengthened and developed to be the first-class leisure tourism city in China.

Wei Xiaoan said that we should re-understand the characteristics of Chenzhou's complex tourism resources. Chenzhou City has rich, colorful and high grade tourism resources, and has a first-class leisure tourism resource in the country. At present, the leisure vacation tourism era is coming and developing in an all-round way. Chenzhou City should connect with the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and other urban agglomerations, actively integrate into the one-hour economic circle and two-hour economic circle, meet the needs of tourists for leisure and vacation, and vigorously develop waterfront tourism, mountain tourism and rural tourism; should carry out brand actions and build city image brands; should innovate the operation mode, give full play to the role of tourism poverty alleviation, and cultivate specialized villages and theme towns; should carry out development guiding, combine the strategy of rural revitalization, learn from the successful experiences of different places, do a good job of rural tourism scene and performing, and develop tourism on the original ecology, sub-ecology, pan-ecology and deep ecology to speed up the transformation and development of Chenzhou's tourism industry, and strive to be China's first-class leisure and holiday tourism city. Wei Xiaoan also commented on the development of tourism industry in Suxian, Guidong, Rucheng, Yizhang, Yongxing and other counties.

Yi Pengfei first thanked Wei Xiaoan's affirmation and system guidance. Yi Pengfei points out that Chenzhou tourism should really be developed. All departments at all levels in the city should persist in leading the industry, further strengthen the confidence in the development of the Chenzhou tourism industry, and believe that Chenzhou City has a good location advantage, resource advantage and good development trend; should adhere to the problem orientation, further fill up the weak points of the tourism industry development, and effectively solve the problems encountered in development.

Yi Pengfei pointed out that we should persist in investment guiding, cultivate the main market for tourism industry development, and create a good business environment and tourism management order to ensure the smooth implementation of project investment; should persist in the market operation and strive to enhance the influence of tourism development; should strive to build Chenzhou tourism brand through careful planning and market operation.

Yi Pengfei stressed that we should adhere to government efforts to enhance the protection of tourism development; should integrate resources and connect high-quality tourism resources; should create a tourist market environment and increase the civilized quality of citizens and farmers to promote the image of urban civilization; should strengthen the overall layout planning of tourism, strengthen the organization and leadership, consolidate the foundation, improve the environment and earnestly implement the "five persevere" in the practice of the development of Chenzhou tourism industry.
