On April 14th, the Chenzhou Promotion Association of Human Settlements Development was set up, and the Summit Forum on the Ecological Civilization Construction was held on the same day.

Chenzhou Promotion Association of Human Settlements Development is a professional academic research institution approved by the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau. Its goal is to establish an expert social think-tank with the core of the research on the theoretical system of the human settlements environment and strengthen the exchange between Chenzhou and academic institutions at home and abroad through the establishment of an academic platform to better serve the economic and social development, and promote the sustainable development of human settlements in Chenzhou City

The association will closely focus on restricting local economic and social development, coordinate regional and urban and rural development, continuously study the rural complexes, pastoral complexes, modern villages and towns, agricultural tourism, rural tourism, rural infrastructure, rural community governance and other issues, promote the government, academic institutions, enterprises and communities to cooperate with masses in the process of promoting the strategy of rural revitalization and new urbanization, and promote the continuous improvement of the living environment while the industry is developing and life is rich.

At the summit forum, the experts and professors from Shenzhen Scientific Research Association of Human Settlements Environment, Central Academy of Fine Arts and Central China Normal University respectively made some special academic reports on the "Studying Xi Jinping's thought of ecological civilization and building a beautiful China in a new era", "Interpretation and breakthrough of the rural revitalization core problems" and so on.
