On April 21th, the 5th Children's Reading Festival opened in Wuling Square.

According to the organizers, the Children's Reading Festival included the classic reading show, the tridimensional book fantasy tour, dictation contest, theme story houses, science popularization and creative reading experience museum, "Reading for Love" 21-day parent-child reading, digital library exhibition and other reading activities. At the same time, they set up a branch venue in Guidong County to let rural children share reading resources.

At the opening ceremony, the author saw the children in groups under the leadership of their parents to participate in various interactive experience activities. Some children lingered in graded reading booths, some children lined up outside the science creative reading experience museum, some children listened carefully to volunteers telling stories and all children enjoyed the pleasures of books and reading.
