On April 19th, the author learned from the Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology that the "Maker in China" Chenzhou small and medium-sized enterprise innovation and entrepreneurship competition in 2018 was launched. At present, the counties and urban areas are extensively mobilizing industrial parks and small and medium-sized enterprises in the innovation base to participate and actively prepare for the preliminary competition.
With the theme of "Focus on industrial chain, build innovation chain", the competition is one of the series of events of "Maker in China" organized in response to the call of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and is an important part of the "Makers in China" Hunan innovation and entrepreneurship competition in 2018. The competition aims to stimulate the innovation potential, gather entrepreneurial resources, create a "double creations" atmosphere, create a platform for small and medium-sized enterprises to exchange and display, produce and finance docking, project incubation, and industrial chain docking, discover and cultivate a group of "double creations" excellent projects and excellent teams, promote small and medium-sized enterprises to use cloud data, expedite the new products, new technologies, new models and new forms of business, promote enterprise transformation and upgrading, and promote the development of large, medium-sized and small enterprises.
Enterprises that meet the following 5 requirements may register for participation.
The author learned from the Organizing Committee that the competition projects are divided into 4 categories: technological innovation, product innovation, management innovation and format innovation. The enterprises and projects to be registered should satisfy the following 5 conditions: the enterprises should be registered in Chenzhou and the registration time is not less than 1 year, no bad credit record; the enterprises should be the small and medium-sized enterprises in conformity with the "SME standards"; the competition projects should have independent intellectual property or proprietary technology, no intellectual property disputes; the competition projects should have entered the market or been actually produced with good management, economic and social benefits; the competition projects should be new products, new technologies, or alternatives to traditional products and technologies in the industry, with samples and prototypes; the completion projects should be the products, technology and technological support of the key industry and the emerging superiority industry chain.
The award-winning projects can receive policy support and financing promotion.
The competition is divided into 2 stages of the preliminary and the quarter-final, respectively in May and June, 2018. The outstanding projects will be recommended to participate in the final of the "Maker in China" Hunan small and medium enterprises innovation and entrepreneurship competition in 2018, which will be composed of 2 first prize awards, 6 second-class awards and 12 third-class awards, giving 300,000 yuan, 200,000 yuan and 100,000 yuan respectively to support enterprise innovation.
The Provincial and Municipal Economy and Information Technology Commissions will give the following policy support to the outstanding projects selected by the competition: the projects that meet the enterprise cultivation conditions of "Little Giant" of the Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission will be given priority to be included in the enterprise cultivation of "Little Giant" in Hunan Province; the projects that meet the requirements of the list of key manufacturing enterprises in Hunan Province will be given priority to be included in the list; the projects that meet the special fund declaration condition for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises at all levels will be given priority in recommending. At the same time, the Organizing Committee of the competition will also recommend the award projects at all levels to the cooperative bank for credit, loans and other financial support, and recommend to the competition cooperative investment and financing institutions for joint investment and financing.
The interested and eligible enterprises may consult and register in the Economy and Information Technology Commission competent departments in the county and urban areas.
