From 25 to 26 April, Liu Zhiren, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor, led a team to investigate and study in the Shanghai's g Lingang Area, and signed a contract on behalf of the Chenzhou municipal government with the Development and Construction Management Committee of Lingang Area, marking the formal establishment of friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two cities. Chen Jie, District Standing Committee of Shanghai Pudong New District, and Party Secretary and Executive Deputy Director of Development and Construction Management Committee of Lingang Area attended the signing ceremony.

Liu Zhiren and his party investigated the Lingang factor of SAIC Motor Passenger Vehicle Company and the AECC Commercial Aircraft Manufacturing Company to explore the "Samples of Lingang Area" of high-end manufacture in Shanghai; visited the Yangshan Deep-water Port to feel the world's leading port style. Liu Zhiren said the Lingang Area dedicated to building a first-class benchmarking manufacturing base and the business card of "Made in Shanghai".

Haichang Ocean Park Holding Co., Ltd. came to Chenzhou for an investigation and discussion in March this year. The two sides signed a framework agreement for cooperation in the Haichang Ocean culture and tourism comprehensive project in Chenzhou City after Liu Zhiren and his party investigated the ocean park project in the Lingang Area.

At the signing ceremony of establishing friendly exchanges and cooperative city relations between Lingang Area and Chenzhou City, Liu Zhiren said that he felt the vitality and tremendous changes that had taken place in the past 20 years when he came to the Lingang Area. Lingang Area is a city of innovation and technology, and it is worthwhile for Chenzhou to learn from urban planning, innovation and development, intelligent manufacturing, city-industry integration, livable environment and other aspects. Liu Zhiren hoped that the next step will be to strengthen cultural, scientific and technological, innovation and other exchanges and cooperation with Lingang Area. Chen Jie said that Chenzhou has a very beautiful ecological environment, as well as a very good industrial layout and development prospects, and hoped to work together with Chenzhou to advance hand in hand.

During his stay in Shanghai, Liu Zhiren and his party also met with the leaders and representatives of Chenzhou Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.
