The heat pump drying is a mild drying method, which is close to natural drying. The color, appearance, active components and active substances of Chinese herbal medicine can all be protected properly and the process will not be contaminated in heat pump drying. And the equipment uses the microcomputer automatic control and does not need special personnel on duty, saving labor.

According to the statistics, it takes only 24 hours to bake 2440 jin of fructus aurantii under heat pump. The ratio of finished products is 4: 1 and the number of workers in drying operation is reduced from 4 to 1 people, reducing the working hours by 80%; the quality rate of medicinal materials is improved by 3 - 5 %; the coal operating cost of baking every jin of fructus aurantii is 2 yuan, but the running cost of heat pump is less than 0.78 yuan.
