On May 6, Chenzhou Red Cross launched the "Humanity for your smile" Red Cross Fraternity Week to commemorate the 71st World Red Cross Day, which will last until the 13th.

It was learned that the Red Cross and International Federation of Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) have designated the "smile" as the theme of this year's World Red Cross Day. Around this theme, Chenzhou Red Cross will carry out a series of publicity and commemorative activities throughout the city, such as the "I am the Red Cross" theme sworn, "Humane smile, run for Love" commonweal running, large-scale medical clinics and other activities. They will also continue to enter schools and urban and rural communities, and organize the knowledge popularization on disaster prevention and mitigation, training in emergency rescue skills, Red Cross voluntary service, free blood donation, donation of hematopoietic stem cells, donation of human organs and other publicity activities. Through the series of activities, Chenzhou Red Cross aimed to vigorously promote the spirit of humanity, fraternity and dedication of the Red Cross, unite more social forces to participate in and support the development of the Red Cross cause, earnestly carry out the duties entrusted by the Red Cross, and give full play to the role of the Red Cross as the bridge and tie between the Party and the government in linking the masses in the field of humanity to share the worries for the government and solve the difficulties for the masses.
